Maria, Dave and Jacob of the Little Rays of Sunshine Club received a cheque for £600 from Paddy Naylor and Martin Watson of the Camelot Hotel, Bude on Tuesday, February 8. Hawker’s Restaurant at the Camelot Hotel has a diners’ club which entitles members to a 10 per cent discount of the cost of their evening meals. The annual membership of £10 is donated in full to local deserving causes, and this year it was the turn of the Little Rays of Sunshine Club. This is a Bude based mutual support group for all families who have a child with special needs, though it was originally focused on those with Down’s Syndrome. For more information on the club, look them up on Google.
